Welcome to our school website. I am very proud and privileged to have been the Headteacher at Mickleton Primary School since February 2019. 

Our aim is to create a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve. We place the children at the heart of all our decisions to ensure that they are happy, confident and that a variety of opportunities are offered to them to grow in all areas, preparing them for their next step. Helping them be the person they need to be.   

Through our engaging curriculum, we foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum, where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all children experience success and can reach their full potential.

The school has a dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, the local community and the other local schools. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school, regarding you as an active partner in your child's education and valuing your interest and support. The schools efforts have been recognised in the 2021 Parliamentary Review under 'Highlighting Best Practice'. 

I hope that this website provides you with an insight into our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities. It will continue to develop over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us.
