March 2016 - PSQM presentation by Mrs Marsh to the Subject Leader's Meeting
I just wanted to thank you for your excellent input at the primary science network meeting.
Congratulations on achieving Gold! The first school in Gloucestershire.
Colleagues really appreciated and valued the session on the Primary Science Quality Mark, with the huge majority of colleagues highlighting the session on PSQM as one of the most useful aspects of the day.
I thought you might like to read these comments which are typical of the comments written on the evaluation forms:
“Good to hear their experience, considering doing it as a way to improve / reflect on practice.”
“Good as didn’t realise we are doing some already.”
“Loved hearing the teachers from PSQM schools.”
“Inspiring and useful. I will be implementing some of their ideas and will consider PSQM again.”
“Really Interesting. Thank you to the ladies who presented. Thought provoking – what are we doing.”
“I may look into this in the future to raise the profile of science.”
“I really enjoyed listening to the schools who are doing the PSQM. I am encouraged to have a go or at least talk to my head about it again.”
“Excellent information well presented. Great ideas for developing science in school and raising the profile of science.”
“Very positive and fantastic ideas.”
“Very Inspiring thank you!”
“Useful to see what other schools are doing- quite inspiring, yet realistic presentation about PSQM.”
“Definitely going to look into this!”
Thank you for the time and thought that you put into your presentation. It was great that we could share your passion and enthusiasm for science and it is good to know that science is being championed in Gloucestershire.
